Delivery was quite fast but I didn’t get entirely what I ordered. I ordered some Vistalux PVC flashing, and the Vistalux technical info said I needed to use butyl flashing tape with it (no brand specified). The butyl flashing tape that Roof Giant listed was Corotherm brand, which is a product of Ariel Plastics, the same company as makes the Vistalux. So I thought, great, all comes from one manufacturer, should all work together. The delivery when it arrived did indeed come direct from Ariel Plastics, but instead of the Corotherm butyl flashing tape 10m x150mm, for which I had paid £37.75 inc. VAT, they had given me Bostik Flashband 10m x 150mm, which is a significantly different product, not butyl, but a bituminous strip. The Bostik Flashband is not even listed on on the Roof Giant site, but costs only £16.49 from Screwfix. The delivery note from Ariel Plastics made no mention of either flashing tape product, just omitted that item. Attempts to get an explanation from Roof Giant by email or phone so far have failed. The product I have been supplied with might do for the job, I don’t know, but I have been significantly overcharged. One does expect to get exactly what one orders, or an explanation why not. Is that not the case in the roofing world? It seems like Roof Giant is just a web portal for various manufacturers to sell direct to the public through. There’s therefore a confused situation about who is actually doing the selling and delivering, and who is responsible for sorting problems. They sent me several emails stressing that the contents of the order should be checked on delivery and problems notified to the driver before he left. This was totally impossible as the driver was already off when I answered the door. But the fact they keep stressing this suggests they have a lot of issues like this - people not getting quite what they ordered.

The delivery people you used were the rudest most unhelpful people I have ever had the displeasure to encounter, the initial purchase I made with you was really quite heavy but although there was two people in the lorry the driver just stayed in the cab and the other one expected me to unload the roofing when I tried to ask him for help he just looked at me when I asked him if he could hear me he just nodded, I am in my seventy's and the load was in the region of 60kg, if I ever see a company using this delivery /courier I will not buy anything from them including Roof Giant! Appalling!
The product is absolutely fine. What is not fine is the three follow-up emails requesting a review, two of which have arrived AFTER completing the unsubscribe request. Spamming clients is not how you hang on to them.
Quick and easy to install, easy to cut and very lightweight
Don't waste your time with this company, all they do is drop ship goods there is no physical store, no reply to email there telephone number just continually goes to voice mail, try to ring the number before you buy ,then use someone else

Prompt delivery, good price, and did the job, but rather flimsy, they twisted easily, i needed this width which was limiting choice, but sturdier are available but more expensive.
