When I placed my order everything seemed to go well and it looked like I was getting a good deal. However, the courier did not deliver the goods for several days and I had to chase this up and when the corrugated pvc roofing sheets I ordered did arrive the ends that were not cut square which necessitated trimming the top and bottom of the roofline causing the sheets to be too short. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until I went to install them and trying to resolve this issue was far from straightforward as the communication was not as good as it could have been. I proposed a compromise solution to make it less of a problem for them (although not so good for me) which they accepted. However the project I was working on was delayed by almost a fortnight while this was dealt with. I was left feeling that the company were just making life difficult by asking me to send them details of the problem when I had previously emailed them with the information. That was why I proposed a compromise solution and have accepted that I don’t have the roof finished as intended. Another issue that seems highly probable although I can’t prove it is that since my communications with this company I have been bombarded with junk emails every day. Previously I rarely received any junk at all. I have not disclosed my email address to anyone else leading up to my dealings with Roof Giant or since then so although it may be a coincidence, it seems highly likely that my personal details have been misused.
