VELUX Special Head Flashing is a covering that allows the windows to be placed in roofing materials that do not allow the use of standard tile or slate flashings, for example, lead or standing seam sheeting.
Manufactured from aluminium, it is a covering for the head of the window that hooks over the top hood section and overlaps the roofing material as it is dressed up the window frame. It works in conjunction with the side frame covers and bottom frame cover supplied with the window.
