Maybe the fault of Velux but the delivery date was too vague for planning purposes. I did consider going elsewhere for another product but couldn't find anything suitable. Also, the delivery was made without my knowledge, although I was home, discovering the roofwindow later in my garage with no delivery note - maybe Father Christmas brought it early.
Good experience on the phone and communication via email/ text regarding order status and delivery. Driver was good too. Only slight issue was the 4 to 6 week wait time but I appreciate that this was as the product was not 'off the shelf' and needed to be manufactured. Product looks good and worth the wait.
Really communications from start to finish, best price for Velux blinds I could find online. Would recommend.
Prompt delivery
I ordered the granite in july for a fish pond. Waited several weeks without correspondence. The items didn't arrive, I contacted the company to find out where the granite was? I was told it would be the end of August. I had no correspondence from roof giant again. At the 2 month mark I received a message to say your items are on the way. The pond was sitting unfinished and un protected from the elements the whole time. Itll be hard to get them fitted before winter. Not good for an item ordered in july. I understand sourcing products from third parties can leave you with your hands tied. However, no information for 2 months after purchase is terrible customer service.
I ordered from Roofgiant on the 23th October with an advertised 10 day lead time. I am still waiting after being told a date last week - no show, another date this week, no show (even through their own system-created email tells me the delivery date). Now expecting it 5 days from now. Excuse that they are at the behest of the supplier. I would say choose more reliable suppliers if you are going to be fronting an advertised lead time.
Ordered sheets of polycarbonate twin wall on the 29th of July, had messages for delivery on 3 dates but no shows, chased for over a month finally getting a refund on the 12th of September, unfortunately a really frustrating experience as customer service phone goes to voicemail and emails are not responded to for 24+ hours.
Product delivered ontime and well packaged. Plastic thickness is thinner than expected.

Absolutely shocking customer experience. Roofgiant do not supply the items sold but instead outsource to other vendors. In my case the same items were delivered twice, I raised this as soon as it occurred and 2 weeks later the issue is still ongoing, I have repeated myself over and over again. When asked to escalate to a senior manager, the request was refused. Anyone considering this company as an option should honestly think twice.

Absolutely disgusting service, worst service received ever. Most stressfull and awful experience. We purchased Roof outlets and they sent us the wrong size, told us to dispose the items and will issue us a refund. After few weeks they told us the refund cannot be issued unless we return the item back with our own expense. Worst company. Still d3aling with them for last 3 months for a refund. Avoid!!! Thanks for your reply. You refunded us after 3months of constant too and fro emails and it is absolutely not a misunderstanding. You told us to dispose the items and told us you are not going to refund what so ever until we return the items back, despite after many times we raised the issue "that you told us to dispose the items". But luckily we found the items in our garage and we had to pay twice the postage to return the items back at our own expense. Then you only refunded part amount, then I have to raise a complaint to get the full refund. The whole sage is absolutely disgusting and worst experience we ever faced in our life.
