Product info

Glidevale Universal Flat Interlocking In-line tile vent is designed to provide roof space ventilation or act as a soil vent pipe or extraction terminal. This universal ventilator fits with many different manufacturers' tile profiles.

The unobtrusive profile features a flush grille section set into the base which ensures the vent is virtually unseen from the ground. Concealed baffles catch any wind-driven rain or snow that might penetrate the grille and return it via positive drainage channels to the roof slope.

For use with Condron Concrete slate tile, Lagan Flat, Marley Modern, Marley Duo Modern, Northstone Donard/Penrose, Quinn Western Slate, Redland Mini Stonewold, Redland Mockbond Mini Stonewold, Russell Grampian Russell Highland, Sandtoft Calderdale and Sandtoft Dual Calderdale.

  • Unobtrusive profile
  • Excellent 'free draining' design ensures no ponding of water in the vent
  • Easily installed wherever required as part of the normal tile/slating process.
  • Concealed baffles catch any wind-driven rain or snow
  • Superior wind uplift resistance
  • Integral 4mm insect screen
  • Designed and developed under BS EN ISO 9001
  • High or low-level ventilation
  • 10,000mm² free airflow
  • Used to meet requirements of BS 5250
  • Min roof pitch: 20 degrees
  • Size: 420mm x 330mm

Can they be used to push under existing tiles to provide a skirt to the gutter as the current tile edge is short of gutter.
Yes the eaves skirt can usually be pushed up under the bottom couple of rows of tiles to allow the skirt to hang into the gutter, there may be necessity to push some of the tiles a little further just to allow a nail or screw fixing through the skirt into the top of the fascia board itself.
