The Atlas Double Glazed Square Roof Lantern is a sleek, slim and modern roof lantern, available in a choice of special self-cleaning Blue Tint glass or Neutral glass options to choose from. Atlas' modern solar control glass is ideal for conservatories and even prevents other rooms of your home from becoming extremely hot and stuffy in summer while reducing solar glare to create a calm, relaxing indoor environment. The microscopic self-cleaning film that has been applied to the glass will also allow dirt and small particles of debris to simply break down and wash away when exposed to natural sunlight and rainwater. 

Normally requiring a 125mm ridge, Atlas’ new design has a shortened ridge measuring 45mm x 45mm, making for a completely symmetrical design that is both aesthetically attractive and easier to install. Atlas’ innovative roof glass consists of Low-E softcoats and a Solar control combination coating with warm edge spacers and an argon gas filled cavity to give you the very best blend of heat reflection and thermal insulation.

The lightweight, slim and extra strong rafters will provide you with unsurpassed structural and thermal performance combined with superior visual appeal thanks to the clean, sharp lines that give the illusion that the glass panes are simply floating in the sky. This Atlas Contemporary Roof Lantern also comes in a range of colours, including Black, White and Grey to match your home aesthetic.

You’ll enjoy a more comfortable indoor space as the glass controls the amount of UV light and heat that passes through the glazing. This results in a reduction of destructive UV rays by up to 91%, helping to prevent fabric damage and limiting furniture fading. The special self-cleaning technology will also cut down on glass maintenance costs and labour time. 

Fitter friendly and fast to install, the Atlas Double Glazed Square Roof Lantern doesn’t require excess silicone at the connections to keep water out and ensures a fast, high quality fit.

What you need to know 

Delivery Charges 

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access 

  • Atlas deliveries are on 12T lorries for the majority of the deliveries, so access needs to be considered. If accessibility is difficult, please confirm details to Roof Giant on your order requesting a smaller vehicle (van delivery) is required. However, please be aware there may be a restriction in lantern size due to length of the van. 
  • Atlas deliveries are kerbside delivery only, you will need to arrange to move your Atlas lantern onto your property/to a safe place. 
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions.

Date and time of delivery 

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email, and your order will be delivered directly to you from Atlas. 
  • Atlas deliveries are Monday to Friday typically between 8am and 6pm. Occasionally deliveries may be made outside of this time but will be confirmed to you. 
  • Two days prior to scheduled delivery, Atlas will phone the customer to confirm that someone will be on site to accept delivery. On the day of delivery, the lorry driver will call one hour prior to arrival.
  • Atlas Roof Lanterns are delivered boxed with glass. In some instances, the glass will come direct from the glass manufacturer and all efforts will be made to deliver on the same day as the roof kit. Flat Glass Rooflights are delivered glazed and unboxed. 

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • If you have provided the wrong address and contact, please let Roof Giant know ASAP. No amendments can be made less than 48 hours prior to delivery. 
  • You must be present to accept the delivery as driver may need assistance when unloading due to health & safety regulations/weight of goods.  
  • Failed delivery will incur a £50.00 + vat re-delivery charge. Special deliveries may incur an additional charge.

Damages & missing items  

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible.  
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details. Any damages must be photographed and submitted to sales@roofgiant.com. 

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g., if you need to query damage that occurred during transit). 

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently offer next day delivery on certain brands. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
