Sarket is a high-performance bitumen impregnated fibreboard for roofing used as a combined roofing underlay and wind barrier for use on heat-insulated roofs.

With superior weather-resistant skin and tongue & groove edge profile, Sarket is perfect for sustainable and breathable roof construction. 

Using environmentally friendly production methods, Sarket is made from 100% wood waste and the weather-resistant skin is made from recycled newspaper.

What you need to know

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown at the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery Access 

  • Ecomerchant's products are delivered on pallets using vehicles suitable for access, including articulated lorries. We are usually able to provide a vehicle that matches your specific requirements, please confirm details at time of order.
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes or overhanging trees, that could impede delivery.
  • Ecomerchant goods will be delivered to level, firm ground, or the nearest accessible site, which may include a public highway.
  • Ecomerchant use third-party carriers and drivers are not permitted to assist in unloading unless the delivery vehicle has a Haib or Moffet. Please do not ask the driver to help unload. In some cases, you may be required to provide mechanical offload, we will inform you of this in writing at the time of your order this will include specific shipping and handling instructions. Arranging mechanical offload, if required, is your responsibility.
  • If you have a grass or gravel driveway, goods cannot be left without someone in attendance. Please ensure you are on site to avoid a failed delivery. 

Date and Time of Delivery

  • We will provide you with an estimated delivery date via email and your order will be delivered directly via the pallet network or courier for smaller items.
  • Delivery will arrive Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. 
  • Please note that delivery timings are provided as a guide and not as a guarantee. We will make every effort to complete orders by the indicated time, but these times are estimates only and are subject to the carrier's rate tariff. 

Failed Deliveries Are Chargeable

  • You must be present to accept the delivery.
  • For pallet deliveries if no one is available at your address to take delivery, we will leave you a note (or email you) informing you of how to rearrange delivery. For courier deliveries only, if you cannot be present, you can allocate a safe place using the courier app or website using the links sent to you by SMS or email. 
  • The goods will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address you supplied; we will provide a POD for all deliveries on request.
  • If you have a gravel drive, please note that goods cannot be left without someone in attendance. Please ensure you are on site to avoid a failed delivery.
  • If we are unable to deliver your goods to you, then we may charge an additional delivery charge for re-delivery.

Damages and Missing Items

  • All damaged or missing items must be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing whenever possible.
  • Please contact Roof Giant within 48 hours of delivery with all the necessary details so that we can assist you promptly. Waiting too long may impede our ability to help you effectively.
  • All damages must be photographed while the goods are still on the pallet as delivered. These photos, along with your claim, should be submitted via email to sales@roofgiant.com. Claims with photos of goods not on the pallet as delivered may not be accepted, as we cannot prove that the damage occurred during transit.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If you have any queries regarding the product, such as damage during transit, please refrain from installing the item.
  • Installing an item implies acceptance, and it will not be refunded or replaced. Please contact us for resolution before installation.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer next day delivery?

If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.

Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World? 

No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).

Returns Policy

We recommend you take photos of the goods and packaging before returning, as this may be required for courier claims.

Your Right to Cancel

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order (or the final part of a split delivery).
  • You must notify us by phone or email first.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale.

Returns After 14 Days

  • Returns may be accepted up to 30 days but may be subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds & Costs

  • We refund the product price plus standard delivery. Premium delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of returned goods being received (or proof of posting).
  • You are responsible for return shipping unless we arrange collection, in which case the direct cost will be charged.

Exclusions & Brand Policies

  • Some products and brands have specific return rules (e.g. VELUX, Castle Composites, Midland Lead).
  • Made-to-order items, bagged/powder/plaster products, and sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.
