The Freefoam Hollow Soffit uPVC External Corner Trim is designed to provide a neat, professional finish to external soffit installations. Specifically created for use with hollow soffit boards, this external corner trim ensures clean, precise joints at corner sections, enhancing both appearance and weather protection.

Manufactured from durable, low-maintenance uPVC, this trim offers long-lasting resistance to moisture, discolouration and everyday environmental exposure. It neatly conceals cut edges and corner joins, helping to create a seamless, uniform roofline finish while protecting vulnerable corner areas from water ingress and general wear.

Supplied in a convenient 5-metre length, the trim allows for fewer joins and a smoother installation process, making it suitable for both professional roofline installers and competent DIY users. Its lightweight yet robust construction ensures easy handling without compromising structural integrity.

As part of the trusted Freefoam roofline range, the Hollow Soffit External Corner Trim is colour-matched to complement compatible soffit boards, helping you achieve a cohesive and polished exterior finish.

Please note, once the order has been delivered you must unwrap the product and ensure that the products, including fittings, are stored out of the sun until fitting.

What you need to know

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access

  • Northern Building Plastics deliver on our own fleet of long wheelbase vans. 
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions by Roof Giant, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions.
  • You must make Roof Giant aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail. 

Date and time of delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email and your order will be delivered directly to you from Northern Building Plastics.
  • Delivery will arrive between 7:00am–5:00pm if you cannot be there to accept the delivery, it is important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave your delivery or it will fail.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • Wherever possible you must be present to accept the delivery.
  • Failed deliveries will be re-delivered within the lead times set out to Roof Giant for your post code area. 
  • If you cannot be present please advise Roof Giant of a safe, easily accessible place for goods to be left at your own risk.

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help.
  • Any damages must be photographed as delivered and submitted along with your claim by email to sales@roofgiant.com.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

We strongly advise that customers do not make any plans for installation until the items have arrived.

  • If an item is installed, cut or amended it will not be refunded or replaced.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer next day delivery?

If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.

Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World? 

No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).

Returns Policy

We recommend you take photos of the goods and packaging before returning, as this may be required for courier claims.

Your Right to Cancel

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order (or the final part of a split delivery).
  • You must notify us by phone or email first.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale.

Returns After 14 Days

  • Returns may be accepted up to 30 days but may be subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds & Costs

  • We refund the product price plus standard delivery. Premium delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of returned goods being received (or proof of posting).
  • You are responsible for return shipping unless we arrange collection, in which case the direct cost will be charged.

Exclusions & Brand Policies

  • Some products and brands have specific return rules (e.g. VELUX, Castle Composites, Midland Lead).
  • Made-to-order items, bagged/powder/plaster products, and sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.
