Rubberseal ProVap Self-Adhesive Vapour Control Layer Primer is a rapid-drying, non-flammable and consistent VCL primer designed to enhance the adhesion of ProVap self-adhesive membranes to porous or uneven substrates. Ideal for use on concrete, timber or metal decks before applying the ProVap Self-Adhesive Vapour Control Layer.
This SBS resin-based primer is formulated to promote strong, long-lasting adhesion between substrates and ProVap self-adhesive vapour control layers or modified bitumen membranes. Its non-flammable solvent blend ensures safe, quick and consistent application, even in cooler conditions.
When applied as part of the ProVap system, it creates a secure bond and a smooth, uniform surface for your vapour control layer, ensuring long-term performance and installation reliability. A 5 litre container covers approximately 30m², depending on substrate porosity.
Applications: For priming concrete, timber, OSB and other porous or uneven surfaces prior to installing ProVap Self-Adhesive VCL or similar self-adhesive bituminous membranes.
Technical Data:
Store in original sealed containers between 5–25 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Stir thoroughly before use. Apply only in well-ventilated areas and allow primer to dry fully before applying membranes.

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
