The Timloc Refurbishment Roof Space Lap Vent is an effective, easy to install and discreet profile roof space ventilator that increases ventilation in an attic or loft by separating lap joints in the roofing felt or roof membrane. Ideal for tackling condensation in cold roof voids, this lap vent can be fitted retrospectively after increased loft insulation.
Ideal for existing roof spaces, simply install one lap vent into every alternate rafter space at low level. If further ventilation is required, install one lap vent into every rafter space at low level and/or into lap joints at higher levels.
Installation: Position the lap vent clips facing down to hang on the edge of the roofing felt/membrane when in position. The lap vents should be fitted to both sides of the roof space in order to provide cross-flow ventilation. Please note, installing lap vents alone will not meet minimum roof ventilation requirements. For guidance and regulations on roof space ventilation please refer to British Standard BS5250.
Consideration must be given to increased risk of wind uplift and driving rain resistance outlined in BS5534:2014. Calculate quantity of lap vents based on the level of ventilation required. For typical installation allow 1 lap vent per alternate rafter spacing at low level.

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
