The Metrotile Universal Steel Roof Valley Lining is a lightweight, strong and long-lasting roofing solution that's ideal for sealing and lining valleys on a Metrotile roof system. Compatible with all Metrotile roof profiles, this valley lining has been manufactured from the highest quality materials and pressed from high-grade Aluzinc coated steel. Once fitted, this roof valley lining will provide an attractive and sturdy sealant for years to come.

What you need to know

Delivery Charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery Access

  • Metrotile UK pallet orders are delivered on an 18 ton vehicle, offloaded with a tail-lift by the driver. Deliveries are made kerbside only. 
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions.
  • You must make our sales office aware of potential restrictions or the delivery may fail and you will be charged for a re-delivery. Smaller 7.5 ton vehicles can be arranged upon request if there are potential restrictions, please ask Roof Giant for a quote.

Date and time of delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email and your order will be delivered directly from Metrotile UK.
  • Delivery will arrive between 8:00am – 6:00pm. If you can’t be there to accept the delivery, it is important to inform Roof Giant in advance and to leave a delivery note for the driver with instructions or else the delivery will fail and you’ll be charged for re-delivery. 
  • Timed deliveries and weekend deliveries incur additional carriage charges which would be arranged upon request before any order is confirmed. Please ask Roof Giant for a quote. 

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • Metrotile goods are palletised, ideally you need to be present to accept the delivery.
  • If you cannot be present, it’s important to leave a note for the driver with specific instructions for offloading and leaving the pallet, otherwise the delivery will fail.
  • Pallets can be left if no one is there to accept for a kerbside delivery. However if the pallet would block a footpath etc. the delivery will fail and need to be re-delivered. Also goods are left at your own risk. 

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged/ missing wherever possible.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait longer than 48 hours to confirm damages/ missing goods, we may be unable to help.
  • Any damages must be photographed on the pallet as delivered and submitted along with your claim by email to sales@roofgiant.com.
  • We will not accept any claims that have photos of goods not on the pallet as delivered as we cannot prove to the transporter that the damage was caused during transit.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will be marked as non-returnable and will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently offer next day delivery on certain brands. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
