It bonds to all common building materials, is permanently elastic and has excellent grab and gap filling properties making it ideal for use in a wide range of building and maintenance situations.

Uses
Ideal for sealing and bonding metal panels and trims. Also, ideal for expansion joint sealing in concrete panels and floor joints, while being good for sealing in applications subject to vibration and mechanical abrasion. Great for a multitude of sealing and bonding applications in the construction and engineering industries.

For use in high traffic floor joints such as those found in garage forecourts, warehouse, factory floors, sports arenas, shopping centres etc. Perfect for:

  • Bonding in container fabrication.
  • Bonding/fixing cabinets, shower trays, mirrors, ceramics.
  • Bonding and sealing flashings, roof tiles, gutters, architrave, skirting, panelling, mouldings and acoustic tiles.
  • Filling and sealing internal and external cracks and gaps around window and door frames.
  • Forming gaskets in ducting and sealing between metal components.
  • Fabrications and shop fitting.
  • Flexible draught proofing.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, neoprene and bituminous surfaces.
  • Not suitable for continuous water immersion.
  • Avoid exposure to high levels of chlorine.
  • Avoid contact with alcohol and other solvent cleaners during cure.
  • Do not use in the presence of curing silicone sealants.
  • Sealant may bubble if applied in a high moisture vapour environment.

Surface Preparations and Finishing
Ensure substrate is clean, dry and free of all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, cement laitance, old sealants and poorly bonded paint coatings which could affect adhesion of the adhesive/sealant.

Paintability
This product can be painted over when cured.

Directions of Use
Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the nozzle, which should be cut to your required size. Place it in a standard sealant gun. Apply in triangular beads, strips or spots at intervals of a few centimetres each. Use hand pressure only to fix the components to be bonded into position before skinning of the adhesive occurs.

Apply the sealant firmly into the gap or joint ensuring a good solid fill. If necessary, use temporary adhesive tapes, wedges, or supports to hold the assembled components together, removing within 10 minutes of application. Provide temporary support for heavy bonded items until full curing, which takes 24-48 hours.

Delivery access

  • To ensure a smooth and successful delivery experience, it's crucial that you communicate any potential obstacles or restrictions to our sales office. These could include narrow lanes, low bridges, overhanging trees, or any other factors that might impede the delivery process. Failing to provide this information may result in delivery complications or even failure. 

Date and time of delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email, and your order will be delivered directly to you from the supplier.
  • Delivery will arrive between 8.30am–5pm if you cannot be there to accept the delivery, it’s important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • It is important to note that all our deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If there is no one available to accept the delivery at your address, our standard procedure is to return the order to the local depot. We will then make a re-delivery attempt on the next working day. However, please be aware that this re-delivery may come with an additional charge. Alternatively, if you prefer to provide specific delivery instructions, you have the option to leave a signed note for the delivery driver. This note can request that the goods be left with a trusted neighbour or in a secure location such as a garage or porch. It is essential to keep in mind that, in such cases, we cannot be held responsible for any missing goods, as they will be left at your discretion and risk. Your co-operation and clear communication regarding delivery preferences help ensure a convenient and reliable delivery experience for all our valued customers.

Damages & missing items

  • We strongly advise that you thoroughly inspect your order before signing for it when it is delivered by the courier. In the unfortunate event of any damage to your order, we kindly request that you follow these steps:
  1. Sign for the goods as damaged.
  2. Notify us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of despatch.
  3. Send Roof Giant clear images showcasing the damaged goods to sales@roofgiant.com, using your invoice number as the email subject. Once we receive these images, we will promptly assign you a reference and connect you with a dedicated case handler who will thoroughly investigate your issue.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer next day delivery?

If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.

Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World? 

No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).

We recommend you take photos of the goods and packaging before returning, as this may be required for courier claims.

Your Right to Cancel

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order (or the final part of a split delivery).
  • You must notify us by phone or email first.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and suitable for resale.

Returns After 14 Days

  • Returns may be accepted up to 30 days but may be subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds & Costs

  • We refund the product price plus standard delivery. Premium delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of returned goods being received (or proof of posting).
  • You are responsible for return shipping unless we arrange collection, in which case the direct cost will be charged.

Exclusions & Brand Policies

  • Some products and brands have specific return rules (e.g. VELUX, Castle Composites, Midland Lead).
  • Made-to-order items, bagged/powder/plaster products, and sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.
