Elevate QuickPrime Plus EPDM Membrane Primer is an easy-to-use, high-performance EPDM surface primer designed to clean and activate EPDM membrane surfaces prior to the application of all Elevate QuickSeam products. Essential for achieving strong, long-lasting seam adhesion and watertight performance, QuickPrime Plus prepares the EPDM surface to ensure optimal bonding across the Elevate EPDM roofing system.
QuickPrime Plus must be applied with a Quickscrubber Pad and Handle, available at Roof Giant, using long back-and-forth strokes with medium to heavy pressure along the course of your working area. This process cleans and activates the EPDM membrane, creating a uniform surface that promotes clean, consistent and durable seams.
To prepare your EPDM membrane, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dirt and debris. Stir QuickPrime Plus thoroughly before and during use and pour the required amount into a bucket for ease of application. Apply the primer to the EPDM membrane using a Quickscrubber Pad and Handle and continue until the surface becomes dark grey in colour, with no streaking or puddling visible.
Allow the primed surfaces to dry completely according to the touch-push test (typically under 10 minutes, depending on conditions) before applying QuickSeam products such as 3" Seam Tape, 6" Batten Cover Strip or 9" FormFlash. When exposed to lower temperatures for prolonged periods, restore the product to room temperature prior to use. Factory seams require both parallel and perpendicular application motions along the seam for best results.

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
