DEKS ValueFlex range of flexible couplings and fittings are manufactured using EPVC and stainless-steel clamp bands. They are designed to perform, seal, and offer flexibility when connecting pipes together.

DEKS manufactures these couplings and fittings on a global scale and has been doing so for over 30 years. We offer peace of mind and use only materials that ensure longevity.

Our pipe couplings will last for many years and have stood the test of time. The range is all socket, which is needed to compress the EPVC rubber by way of tightening the pre-fitted clamp band down to the required pipe diameter. As a rule, all connections will close between 5mm and 20mm depending on the diameter. Using a regular screwdriver hand tight, this should exert around 4 Nm² torque which is sufficient.

Ensuring you have the correct product is down to ensuring you have the correct measurements. All pipes have an outside diameter (OD) and this is what you work on. Often mistaken, a so-called 4" / 100mm pipe will have a different OD. The bore of the pipe is obviously important for ensuring flow rates on site, and this is often stated. However, different materials by manufacturing type means the wall thickness will be variable and increase the size required for a flexible coupling.

Selecting your best fit is best done by looking at what you want to do, i.e., connect a plastic-to-plastic pipe, then select the size range that best meets the range of the coupling. Please do not oversize or undersize. Always select the size that is not lower in range of the OD of the pipe or significantly higher. Flexible couplings are not suitable for being stretched, but excellent at being closed in diameter within the range stated.

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery Access

  • Deks deliveries by pallet: the customer should always ensure pallets can be off loaded on site safely on firm ground with no restrictions for safe off-loading. Drivers will not make a delivery if in their opinion it is not safe to do so.
  • All UK (excl NI) bound parcel orders will be shipped via DPD Local. 
  • All deliveries must be signed for. If a drop and leave is requested by the customer, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the delivery. This will be noted by the delivery person.
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions.

Delivery times

  • Orders are shipped Monday – Friday between 8am-5pm and your order will be delivered directly to you from Deks/DPD local.
  • Deks offer a pre 10.30am and a pre 1.30pm delivery service if you require next day delivery. The website is pre set to the 1.30pm option, if you require the earlier delivery additional charges will apply. 
  • Deks /DPD will send an SMS message to the customer with a 1 hour’s delivery window. The customer can use this facility to re-book delivery or provide further delivery instruction.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • You must be present to accept the delivery.
  • If you cannot be present, it is important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail. If a drop and leave is requested by the customer, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the delivery. This will be noted by the delivery person.
  • DPD will attempt to deliver 3 times, after these attempts, DPD will return the delivery to DEKS. If re-delivery is required, an additional carriage charge will apply. We will not refund any carriage charges for the returned delivery (where fault is not attributable DEKS). If the order has already been credited by Deks prior to a re-delivery request being made, a new order will have to be placed. 
  • Pallet deliveries will be made once only, re-delivery charges apply for any subsequent attempts and missed deliveries.  
  • For deliveries refused by the customer, DPD will return the order to Deks & a refund will be issued. We will not refund any carriage charges for the returned delivery (where fault is not attributable Deks). If the customer wish for the goods to be re-sent, carriage charges will be applicable as per the initial order. 

Damaged & missing Items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible. If it is possible note any damages on the delivery docket or note electronically on hand scanners.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 24 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help.
  • Photographs will be helpful and advised, full information is always advisable to help resolve disputes.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer next day delivery?

If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.

Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World? 

No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).

Your Right to Cancel

  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order (or the final part of a split delivery).

Returns After 14 Days

  • Returns may be accepted up to 30 days but may be subject to a restocking fee.

Refunds & Costs

  • We refund the product price plus standard delivery. Premium delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of returned goods being received (or proof of posting).
  • You are responsible for return shipping unless we arrange collection, in which case the direct cost will be charged.

Exclusions & Brand Policies

  • Some products and brands have specific return rules (e.g. VELUX, Castle Composites, Midland Lead).
  • Made-to-order items, bagged/powder/plaster products, and sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.
