The Brewer Ultimate Flue Outlet Round Solid Fuel Chimney Cowl is a high quality, durable and trusted solution for downdraught problems in solid fuel systems. Made in England from a choice of either stainless steel or aluminium, this Ultimate Flue Outlet's innovative design helps to increase the airflow needed for solid fuel and redirects wind across the top of the unit rather than blowing down into the flue in your wood, coal or oil system. It also comes with a mesh pre-fitted for use with solid fuel-fired appliances.
Once fitted, the uniquely shaped discs channel wind to create an updraught, or lower pressure, at the top of the system to counteract wind-related downdraught. It also comes with a larger wired mesh design on the inside to not only act as a birdguard but to comply with current British standards and prevent the unit from becoming clogged up with soot. You can easily fit your UFO Solid Fuel Cowl onto any standard round chimney pot with an internal diameter of 150mm to 250mm (6” to 10”) and choose from a range of finishes and colours to meet your requirements.
Installation: The UFO Solid Fuel Cowl is supplied fully assembled. Once up on the roof, it only takes a matter of minutes to attach the UFO Solid Fuel Cowl using the stainless steel strap provided.

How do I prevent downdraught?
This is a common issue where air is blown back down the chimney. An anti-downdraught cowl will prevent wind entering the chimney.
How do I stop birds getting in my chimney?
Fitting a birdguard will stop birds, leaves and debris entering the chimney. You should choose the correct guard for the fuel you are burning.
Do I need to do anything if I no longer use my chimney?
Chimneys should be protected, especially in winter, if they are no longer used. Adding a cap to the chimney can help stop rain and draughts, but will also allow the required ventilation.

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
