Downpipe - 5cm Extension Clip Our Round copper downpipes are manufactured from 100% natural 0.6mm copper and are supplied in 2.4m lengths, making both transportation and installation uncomplicated. Each length is swaged at one end so they push fit together, with additional connectors available so you can use up all your off cuts. All of our downpipe components are designed to be push fit and require no sealing.
The copper guttering has a life expectancy of more than 100 years, however this is not a guarantee; this is established on copper guttering and copper roofing that are still present on structures and in use after 100 years. Copper also possesses the best recycling history of any known material. It is believed that 80 percent of all copper extracted during the last 10,000 years remains in use today. (according to the 'International Copper Association')

Measure the roof pitch accurately to ensure the ridge fits precisely, especially if you are having stop ends on the ridges.
Choose the Right Material
We offer a choice of copper or zinc for our roof ridges. Consider the aesthetic and durability you need to complement your roof.
For example copper will last well over 100 years and keep moss and lichen
from growing on the roof, not only keeping it clean but extending the life span
of the roof by many years.
Order the Correct Lengths
Metal roof ridges are available in standard lengths, but longer runs can be created by joining sections. Be sure to include an allowance for overlaps when calculating your requirements.
Fixings and Accessories
Remember to order the required fixings and sealants. The roof ridges can be secured using glue, nails, screws, or copper/zinc straps.

Do you offer next day delivery?
If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
