Our Classic Composite Decking delivers the natural look of timber with the practicality of composite, at an affordable price point. Made from 60% wood fibre and 30% recycled HDPE, it offers lasting performance without the upkeep of traditional decking. Each board is reversible, with a choice of a wood-grain texture or clean grooved profile. IMPORTANT NOTE: As with all uncapped composites, Dex Classic will naturally lighten in the first few months before settling into a consistent, weathered tone. The boards remain resistant to algae, rot, splintering and warping, ensuring long-term reliability even as the colour softens. Available in five colours - Black, Brown, Natural, Grey and Teak - our classic board suits residential projects where style and value matter. Installation is simple with the hidden clip system, creating a clean finish and allowing effective drainage between boards. Boards require no staining or painting, a simple occasional clean with warm soapy water is enough to maintain their finish Board size: 148 × 25mm Warranty: 10 years Finish: Dual-sided - Woodgrain & Groove Colours: Black, Grey, Natural, Teak, Brown Material: 60% wood fibre, 30% recycled HDPE, 10% additives Installation Guidance * Allow boards to acclimatise on site for 72 hours before installation. * Do not install below 5°C. * Subframe centres: max 350mm. * Keep 15mm clearance from walls/obstacles for expansion. * Allow 8mm gap on butt joints. * Subframe must be fixed securely with expansion screws at 300–400mm spacing. * Always ensure sufficient drainage and ventilation under the deck. * Gradient: 1–1.5% away from walls for water runoff. * Use hidden clips (pre-drill with 2.5mm bit) on every joist. * Joists should be doubled up at butt joints for full support. * Angle trims should be fixed with STORMFix adhesive, not screws. Weathering & Care * Boards will naturally lighten within 12 months before stabilising. * Water marks/tannins may appear in early months - these fade with weathering. * Clean periodically with hot water and a soft brush. * Do not use bleach or harsh detergents. * Avoid direct ground contact (soil/grass) or poorly ventilated areas

How long will I wait for my delivery?
The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.
Do you offer next day delivery?
If a product is available with next day delivery, this will be displayed on the product page or in the basket. Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to these areas but not all, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com during office hours for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply, we will be able to confirm this to you. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
Do you deliver to Republic of Ireland, Europe and Rest of World?
No, unfortunately we nor our suppliers can deliver outside of Great Britain (and Northern Ireland in some instances).
