Wallbarn’s M-Tray is designed to create an instant green roof. M-Tray has been fully tested and now has a B ROOF t(4) classification.
The superior vegetation in Wallbarn’s M-Tray is pre-grown in specially-designed modules for approximately six months at their dedicated UK nursery. Wallbarn have developed its own specially-designed substrate mix which means there is considerable root growth already in the tray. This ensures that by the time they are delivered the plants are strong, established and provide consistent cover over the intended area.
The modules contain a carefully-selected mixture of flowering sedum and wildflower varieties, providing year-round greening and also different textures and flowers throughout the summer. A species list can be downloaded via the link above.
The modules are highly portable and simply clip together, meaning they can be installed much faster than roll-out systems without any specialist landscaping or roofing knowledge. The M-Tray’s unique design means rainwater gets retained far longer and very little maintenance is required through the seasons.
Wallbarn sows a low-density amount of sedum species to give a year round green and good level of ground cover and adds, again from seed, a mix of wildflower species which contain the following characteristics:

Pedestals
What are the advantages of pedestals?
They are quick and easy to install, offer improved drainage, protect the surface underneath and can be lifted at any time for maintenance.
How do I install them?
The pedestals are placed on a flat, hard surface, with no mechanical fixings required. They need to be placed on a structured surface, and shouldn't be placed on non-compacted earth.
Do they need to be fastened?
No, the pedestals are part of a suspended system, with the weight of the slabs/decking holding everything in place.
Green Roof
What is a green roof / modular roof?
Sedum or other succulent plants are grown in low-level substrates. Modular systems are grown in sections and can be lifted into place and joined together.
Do they need maintenance?
The plants are very hardy, but watering in extreme conditions is recommended. Dead leaves and vegetation should be removed at regular intervals, and a slow-release fertiliser can be applied at certain periods throughout the year.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.
How long will I wait for my delivery?
The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.
Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?
We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.
What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on Weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY
Returns
Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office.
Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.
As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.
This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.
If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
