SuperFOIL SFTV Reflective Vapour Control Layer is a superior, high-performance alternative to generic insulation and is characterised by its special highly reflective composition that protects against radiation-induced heat loss.

Suitable for walls, floors, roofs, attics, loft conversions and more, this high-performance waterproof membrane can protect your home from mould and damp efficiently. It also comes with a brilliant air and vapour control barrier, providing air leakage protection and draught control to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Testing & Certification

The SuperFOIL range has been tested and certified by BBA ( British Board of Agrément) to BS EN ISO 12667, ISO 8301. They are certified to comply with UK, EU and CE regulations, and products are independently tested by certified third parties.

Are SuperFOIL products airtight?

The majority of their products are airtight after correct installation (except breathable insulation), as this helps improve performance and maximise savings on energy bills.

Where can SuperFOIL be installed?

Their products can be used in floors, walls and roofs, either in new builds or existing properties. It can be placed above or under rafters, and can be used on flat or pitched roofs.

What you need to know

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access

  • Superfoil Insulation are delivered on pallets with an 18 ton vehicle. They are offloaded by the driver with a pump truck, so we cannot deliver on gravel or mud. If you have a gravel drive the driver will only be able to leave goods at the closest hard surfaced area.
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions.
  • You must make our sales office aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail. Smaller vehicles (7.5 ton) can be arranged as a special requirement please be aware this can cause delays as there are far fewer available and further charges may apply.
  • If you have a grass or gravel drive it will not be possible to leave the goods without someone being in attendance.

Date and time of delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email, and your order will be delivered directly to you from Superfoil Insulation. 
  • Delivery will arrive between 7.30am–8pm if you cannot be there to accept the delivery goods can be left in a safe place of your choosing although this will be at your own risk and should be clearly communicated in writing to the courier. Once a driver leaves goods at your premise you are solely responsible for them.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • You must be present to accept the delivery. 
  • If no one is available at the address to accept the delivery, it will be classed as a failed delivery. 
  • Failed Deliveries will incur a redelivery charge of £50.00+VAT (£60.00 inc. VAT) Any address change will be charged subject to location.

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help.
  • Any damages must be photographed on the pallet as delivered and submitted along with your claim by email to
  • We will not accept any claims that have photos of goods not on the pallet as delivered as we cannot prove to the transporter that the damage was caused during transit.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently offer next day delivery on certain brands. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
