Pro Clima Solitex Plus is used as a fully windtight and breathable (vapour open) roofing underlay for pitched roofs, as an external membrane for timber frame walls and as the windtight membrane used when insulating a suspended timber floor. It has 4 robust layers making it ideal for use where heavy foot traffic is likely during construction, can be exposed to UV and weather for up to 3 months and has impressive nail tear resistance.

Solitex Plus is unaffected by exposure to UV and high levels of radiant heat from the sun for up to 3 months. This is ideal for protecting an unfinished building (during construction) from the elements before any tiles, protective cladding or façade are installed.

What you need to know

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout. 
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access

  • Ecological Building systems goods are delivered with an 18-ton vehicle. They are offloaded by the driver with a pump truck, so we cannot deliver on gravel or mud. If you have a gravel drive the driver will only be able to leave goods at the closest hard surfaced area. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the goods to be moved from the drop point.
  • Please note hand-balling of goods from delivery vehicle is not permitted.
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as local road closures, narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may impact your delivery.  
  • You must make our sales office aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail. Smaller vehicles (7.5 ton) can be arranged as a special requirement, please be aware this can cause delays as there are far fewer available and further charges may apply.
  • If no other option is available and parking infringements are required to enable delivery, the purchaser will be liable for any associated penalty charge associated costs. 

Delivery date and time of delivery

  • A delivery date will be confirmed to you by email and you will receive your order directly to you from Ecological Building Systems.
  • Your delivery will arrive between 9am–5pm and someone must be present to receive and sign for it.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • You must be present at the delivery address to accept the delivery. 
  • Ecological Building Systems will not be liable for re-delivery costs in the event of a failed delivery due to access conditions being unsuitable or if the consignment is turned away for any reason by the customer. 
  • Ecological Building Systems will pass on any additional charges that apply; prices will vary depending on postcode. Ask Roof Giant to confirm additional charges. 

Damages & missing items

  • All goods must be checked on receipt of delivery. All damaged or missing items or products that are different to those on the order should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing or different, wherever possible. 
  • Damaged goods can be rejected (the whole order would need to be returned as normally consignments cannot be split). 
  • If a customer signs for the goods without highlighting issues with the entire consignment this will make any subsequent damage claim void. 
  • Any damage discovered after delivery, MUST be reported to us in writing with accompanying photos (which must be date & time stamped) within 30 minutes of delivery. 
  • We are unable to accept any claims of goods not photographed on the pallet as delivered.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
