The MIA external anti-heat blackout blind sits on the outside of the roof window, where it stops up to 80% of rays before they even reach the window pane — meaning less heat and glare and a much more comfortable room inside.
When you don't need it, the blind simply rolls up into the upper exterior of the window — neat, tidy and out of the way. In winter, the covering stops the mesh from freezing to the pane or getting damaged by snow. To put the blind up, just open the window and hook it to the fittings at the bottom of the frame. And the installation is done from inside the room, quickly and easily.
The casing for the blind is robust and durable and comes finished in the same colour as your roof window cladding (RAL7043 grey) so it blends right in. One design detail that makes all the difference: the blind is just a centimetre wider than the pane on each side, so it still does its job even when the window is open. It also shades the room while still letting the homeowner see outside, blocks UV radiation and helps to dampen the sound of rain on the window pane too.
The MIA is made from tough materials that are resistant to rain, snow and even UV rays. The blind itself comes in black (code 4260).
The MIA is compatible with all RoofLITE+ roof windows, and it pairs seamlessly with any internal blind (DUA or RHA). Use them together and you've got a combination that handles light, heat, and privacy in any weather or season.

Do you offer free delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
We cannot deliver any goods to Northern Ireland due to supplier restrictions.
Some suppliers/couriers will deliver to the other areas listed above, but not all - please contact our sales team for confirmation. If we are able to deliver the product you require, additional transport costs will apply. These additional costs are based on the manufacturer, distributor or courier providing the shipping on our behalf.
