ThermoFloc Loose Fill Organic Cellulose Insulation is a high quality, easy to install and eco-friendly insulation solution that's great for DIY use. Designed to be installed in lofts and beneath floors without the need of a blowing machine, the natural insulation material is made from cellulose fibres that have been extracted from 100% recycled paper and can be simply broken up and poured evenly to achieve the desired insulation thickness and then spread to form a level surface. 

The consistent high performance envelope of insulation helps to reduce heat loss in the winter and keeps your building comfortably cool in the summer. What’s more, ThermoFloc is installed at a density that provides additional thermal mass to the building envelope helping smooth out highs and lows as the building fabric warms and cools.

ThermoFloc Insulation can absorb nearly a third of its own weight in moisture and will still be completely dry to the touch, ensuring insulation performance is maintained across a range of humidities. This moisture is safely released when the temperatures increase or humidity decreases, helping regulate indoor air quality and moisture levels which can contribute greatly to indoor air quality. The material consumption is approximately 35-40 kg/m³ and the technical performance is the same as the blown-in insulation.

What you need to know 

Delivery charges 

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout. 
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you may be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries. 

Delivery access 

  • Eden Renewables deliveries are made on pallets except under 3packs of rolls or membranes (delivered via courier). All pallets are delivered on vehicles ranging from 7.5 ton to artics by a pallet network. Kerbside delivery only. They are offloaded by the driver with a pump truck which cannot move over gravel or mud. 
  • 10+ pallets may require on site off-loading facilities. 
  • All delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions must be included on the order sent to Roof Giant. Smaller vehicles can be arranged as a special requirement but please be aware this can cause delays as there are far fewer available and additional charges may apply.

Day & time of delivery 

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email, and your order will be delivered directly to you from Eden Renewables. If you have specified a delivery date on your order, Eden Renewables will endeavour to fulfil your request.  
  • If a request has been made to leave the delivery unsigned and unchecked the goods must be left undercover and kept dry. Please make the necessary arrangements. 
  • Delivery will arrive between 8.30am–5pm Monday to Friday if you cannot be there to accept the delivery, it is important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail. Eden Renewables can add an estimated time of arrival (ETA), please include if this is required on the order sent to Roof Giant. 

Failed deliveries are chargeable 

  • You must either be present to accept the delivery or on ordering advise where the delivery can be left bearing in mind, the delivery is kerbside only and will need to be moved by the customer (any deliveries left must be undercover and kept dry). 
  • A re-delivery charge may be incurred if nobody is available to accept the delivery on the agreed delivery date. 
  • If an order is cancelled before delivery but after the goods have been despatched a returns charge may be incurred. 

Damages & missing items 

  • Any damaged items should not be accepted, and any missing items should be reported to the driver where possible.  
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours to report any damaged or missing items. 
  • Any damages must be photographed on the pallet as delivered and submitted along with your claim by email to sales@roofgiant.com.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently offer next day delivery on certain brands. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
