A quick and affordable option to improve the efficiency of your home's radiators is to use an EcoTec Radiator Insulation Kit. It is imperative to insulate behind radiators because 40% of the heat from those appliances can be wasted into walls. Consequently, by using this product it means you can warm your house for less. 

The Aluminium Foil of the EcoTec Radiator Kit, which is placed along either side of an air bubble membrane, reflects above 95% of radiant heat directly back into your house.

Since this highly reflective multifoil insulation is only 4mm thick, it can be placed behind any typical home convector or radiators. It only takes a few minutes to install and it's quite simple.

All of the radiators in a typical home can be covered with the 400mm × 15m roll of insulation that comes with this Kit. A roll of double-sided sticky tape is included in the package; use it to attach the item to the wall behind the radiator.

What you need to know

Delivery charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access

  • Ecohome Insulation’s stock is delivered on 18 tonne vehicle (via Pallet Truck) or sprinter vans (via APC). They are offloaded by the driver with a pump truck, they cannot deliver on gravel or mud. If you have a gravel drive the driver will only be able to leave goods at the closest hard surfaced area. The driver will load off the pallet with a pump truck if a forklift is not onsite. Any parcel/box/roll delivery, delivered on a sprinter van would be hand balled off. 
  • Our sales office will need to be made aware of any delivery restrictions, such as narrow lanes, overhanging trees etc. that may cause restrictions. 
  • You must make our sales office aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail. Smaller vehicles (7.5 ton) can be arranged as a special requirement, please be aware this can cause delays as there are far fewer available and further charges may apply. This relates to pallet deliveries only.
  • If you have a grass or gravel drive it will not be possible to leave palletised goods without someone being in attendance. Parcels delivered on sprinter vans can be left safe with authorisation. Please confirm a safe place on your order. 

Date and time of delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email and your order will be delivered directly to you from Ecohome Insulation. 
  • Delivery will arrive between 9am–5pm if you cannot be there to accept the delivery, it’s important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail. 

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • You must be present to accept the delivery. 
  • If you cannot be present, it is important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail. All safe place notes must be made on your original order. Any updates to a safe place after the initial order has been placed can be updated on the email tracking received from APC or Pallet Track.
  • If you have a gravel drive it will not be possible to leave the goods without someone being in attendance for pallet deliveries only.If the goods are delivered on a pallet (usually an order of 4+rolls) a re-delivery charge of £35 applies. 
  • If the goods are delivered via APC there will be no re-delivery charge.

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help. 
  • Any damages must be photographed as delivered on the pallet and submitted along with your claim by email to sales@roofgiant.com.
  • We will not accept any claims that have photos of goods not on the pallet as delivered as we cannot prove to the transported that the damage was caused during transit. 
  • If you wish to return any goods it must be within 30 days of the delivery. A 10% re-stocking, repackaging & admin fee will apply and the refund will be completed within 48 hours of being returned to the supplier.  

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
