The Cladco 34/1000 Box 0.7mm Thick Metal Roof Sheet is a popular, lightweight and hardwearing roof coverage solution for use in industrial, agricultural and commercial buildings as well as domestic projects. One of the most cost-effective ways to cover your building, it's fast and easy to install with each 34/1000 box profile sheet giving your roof a secure weatherproof lap from sheet to sheet. Available in different colours and independently tested to current CE EN 14782 requirements, these 34/1000 box profile roof sheets will provide you with a long-lasting and low maintenance solution for many years.

Each single skin sheet has 7 strong 166mm profiles across its width with a profile height of 34mm and coverage of 1000mm when installed. These 34/1000 box profile sheets give you a simple yet strong way to cover your build. Available as a single skin sheet it can be used to build up an insulated system, over clad an existing roof or on its own to provide a solid weatherproof covering on any building. It is also suitable for roof applications of 4 degrees or higher.

Do I need Z Purlins and What is a Z Purlin?

Z Purlins are often placed as a supporting structure between roofing sheets or vertical cladding for added strength, support, and flexibility. compared to other materials used for the same purpose. Different variations, sizes and lengths may be needed for different buildings and projects.

Do Roofing Sheets provide efficient roof drainage?

Roofing Sheets generally provide better drainage than individual tiles due to their smoother surfaces. Cladco Roofing Sheets, when installed correctly, encourage water run-offs thanks to the corrugations and rivets found in the profiles.

Are Cladco Roofing Sheets corrosion-resistant?

Yes, Cladco Roofing Sheets are manufactured using Galvanised Steel, which has a corrosion-resistant component to ensure a high-quality, long-lasting product.

What is the difference between PVC Plastisol Coating and Polyester Paint?

PVC Plastisol Coating is a thick, high-quality, long-life coating made of a leather grain embossed plastisol. PVC Coated Roofing Sheets are of higher quality with scratch-resistant properties and longer life. Polyester Painted Roofing Sheets are less resistant to scratches and are more likely to scratch and mark. Polyester typically needs maintenance from 8 to 12 years).

Do I need to look after and maintain my Cladco Roofing Sheets after installation?

To ensure your Cladco Roofing Sheets will last for many years. It is recommended to check your Roofing Sheets regularly and clear away any leaves or debris, and clean any marks or scratches (most marks should be able to be cleaned using soap and water).

Do I need to treat my metal Roofing Sheets?

Metal roofing sheets are manufactured from galvanised steel and so do not require treating to protect them from the elements. Any newly cut ends can be painted with a metal paint of a similar colour to help protect exposed metal edges.

How much should Roofing Sheets overlap?

When installing Cladco Roofing Sheets, they must overlap by a minimum of one Profile or Corrugation.

What is the minimum pitch when installing Roofing Sheets?

The minimum pitch required for a single pitch roof differs depending on what Profile Roofing Sheet is being installed.

  • Box Profile Roofing Sheet - 4-5° minimum pitch
  • Corrugated Roofing Sheet - 10° minimum pitch
  • Tileform Roofing Sheet - 12° minimum pitch

Why must my sheets overlap?

When installing Roofing Sheets, it is important to lap each sheet by a minimum of one profile. Lapping the Sheets enables any rainwater to drain off the roof and not seep underneath the sheets and into the building below. Lapping the sheets also prevents dirt, debris and vermin from entering.

Delivery charges 

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery access 

  • Cladco products are delivered on a variety of vehicles from small transit vans (via a courier Evri) up to 18-ton vehicle so please ensure there is enough access at the delivery address to accommodate. Some goods maybe palletised, it is your responsibility to dispose of all pallets/packaging. 
  • Our sales office will need to made aware of any access issues, delivery concerns to your property, or if you live in an area with weight/height/time restrictions. Please confirm any issues on your order to ensure Cladco can book in your delivery, Cladco vehicles are large and require adequate space to manoeuvre.
  • You must make our sales office aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail.
  • Cladco decking and roofing delivery offers a kerbside service only, which does not include the driver carrying products any distance to his/her property. Please make the necessary arrangements to offload your delivery, some items can be heavy and sharp. Anyone giving assistance to the driver should wear suitable gloves and clothing and must also be physically capable to assist.
  • If the vehicle is invited onto the customer’s property, it is entirely at the risk of the customer. Cladco and its drivers will not be liable for any damage to the property.

Date and time of delivery 

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by text or email and your order will be delivered directly to you from Cladco. Delivery dates are subject to change and orders may be delivered before or after an allocated time slot, however, Cladco aim to avoid doing so.
  • Roofing: Cladco drivers usually call approximately one hour before the delivery slot, where possible.
  • Delivery will arrive Monday to Friday between 7am – 7pm  if you cannot be there to accept the delivery, it is important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail.

Failed deliveries are chargeable

  • You must be present to accept the delivery.
  • If you cannot be present it’s important to leave a note for the driver with instructions where to leave the pallet or the delivery will fail.
  • If you have a gravel drive it will not be possible to leave the goods without someone being in attendance.

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged or missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing, wherever possible.
  • Contact Roof Giant within 48 hours with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help.
  • Any damages must be photographed on the pallet as delivered and submitted along with your claim by email to sales@roofgiant.com.
  • We will not accept any claims that have photos of goods not on the pallet as delivered as we cannot prove to the transporter that the damage was caused during transit.

Important: we advise not employing anyone to fit the items until they have been received by you and checked in their entirety.

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
