The system is supplied to suit timber purlins and is complete with a 125mm long threaded bar. The system can also be supplied to suit hot or cold rolled metal, I-beams, tubular or concrete purlins.
No further materials are required to complete the installation, it's all in the kit.

What you need to know

Delivery Charges

  • The delivery charge will be shown in the checkout.
  • If the delivery is missed for any reason, you will be billed again for the re-delivery. See below: failed deliveries.

Delivery Access

  • Filon Consignments of single skin sheeting will be banded on to timber bearers for forklift offload.  
  • Smaller orders will be packed in cardboard and wrapped in plastic to allow offload by hand.
  • For Over-Roof orders, if Profix spacers are required, large quantities will be palletised for forklift offload.  Small quantities will be banded to the Over-Roof sheeting.  Over – Roof Ridge Pieces, dependent on type and quantity, will either be banded to the Over-Roof sheeting or banded separately on to timber bearers for forklift offload.
  • For Fixsafe orders, small quantities of Fixsafe fixings will be boxed and shrink wrapped to the sheets, larger quantities will be palletised.  
  • Offloading equipment is not supplied and offload by hand will need to be conducted by the customer.  Please ensure sufficient people are available to conduct the offload.
  • You must make our sales office aware of these restrictions or the delivery may fail Filon deliveries need to take delivery on a Rigid 18- / 26-ton lorry or articulated vehicle.   Smaller vehicles are available on request which may incur additional charges.

Date and Time of Delivery

  • We will advise a delivery date to you by email, and your order will be delivered directly to you from Filon.
  • Delivery will arrive between 8am – 5pm. 
  • The delivery will be made by a third-party haulier and will be delivered directly to you from Filon Products Limited.
  • Timed deliveries are available upon request at an additional cost, please contact Roof Giant for a cost at time of order.

Failed Deliveries are Chargeable

  • You must be present to accept delivery.
  • If you cannot be present, the goods will be returned to Filon Products Ltd to arrange redelivery at additional cost. 

Damages & missing items

  • All damaged/missing items should be reported to the driver and signed for as damaged or missing on the delivery note.
  • Contact Roof Giant within three working days of delivery with all details so we can help you. If you wait too long, we may be unable to help.
  • Any damaged/missing items must be photographed and submitted along with your claim to sales@roofgiant.com.  

Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).

  • If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.

What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office. 

Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
