Description

Landmark Double Roman tiles combine Redland's special long-lasting Landmark surface finish with the popular Double Roman profile. Available in two authentic clay colours, they are ideal for maintaining the look of a traditional Double Roman roof at a considerable saving over new or reclaimed clay.

Landmark Double Romans are made using Redland's revolutionary manufacturing process, ColourFusionÂ. This involves fusing a very dense layer of highly pigmented amalgam with the top of the tile, so that it actually becomes part of the tile body, rather than a thin, easily eroded layer. This is then cured with a clear protective layer of polymer to give the surface finish and colour maximum longevity.

The ColourFusion process has undergone years of research and testing in the Group's state-of-the-art laboratories and exceeds their exacting standards. Although it is hard to quantify the expected lifetime of any finish since it varies greatly with location, it has been confirmed that tiles created using this new process will retain their intended appearance for much longer in the same environment than the equivalent tile finish produced without the ColourFusion process. A Landmark Double Roman roof retains its appeal for longer meaning that the benefits of machine-made performance, control and cost have never looked so attractive for so long.

Landmark Double Roman conform to BS EN 490: 2011 Concrete roofing tiles and fittings for roof covering and wall cladding - Product Specifications.

Performance

Landmark Double Roman has been rigorously tested in the Group wind tunnel where combinations of high wind and driving rain are used to determine the tiles performance with respect to wind loading and weathertightness. Tiles will meet the requirements of BS 5534: 2014 Code of practice for slating and tiling (including shingles), providing Redland's fixing recommendations are complied with.

  • Landmark Double Roman must be laid straight bonded, normally from right to left
  • At left-hand verges, use Standard Tiles with interlocks removed. At right-hand verges, use Standard Tiles. Half Tiles must not be used at verges.
  • Dentil slips must be used for mortar bedded ridges and hips.
  • Half Tiles should be used to avoid the use of small pieces of tiles.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

How long will I wait for my delivery?

The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.

Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?

We currently do not offer next day delivery but hope to offer this soon. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery if possible.

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY

Returns

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013)

This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods

If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055, email sales@roofgiant.com or post Roof giant Ltd Holland House, Valley Way, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, LE16 7PS advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract. If you wish for us to arrange collection of the goods when you are responsible for the cost of return we will charge to you the direct cost of the collection.

If you are returning goods using your right to change your mind we will refund to you the price you paid for the goods including delivery costs

We reserve the right to make deductions from the refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) if we believe the product has been handled excessively or in a way that would not be permitted by the manufacturers instruction

With regards to the refund of delivery cost we are only able to refund any delivery cost at a basic rate so if you opted for an enhanced service such as next day guaranteed we will only refund at the basic rate

As exercising your right to change your mind your refund will be made within 14 days of the goods being returned

If your refund request is not within the terms above : 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Faulty Products
