Filon Fixsafe Cape Monad CEDR24E SAB CLASS 1 2135mm - Figures published by the Health & Safety Executive show that falls through fragile roof materials could equate to nearly a quarter of fatal accidents in the construction industry. The Filon Fixsafe system has been developed to address this problem and play a major part in reducing the statistic. The patented Fixsafe system has been designed to allow profiled rooflights or roof sheets to be replaced entirely from within the building, eliminating the need to access dangerous fragile roofs, thereby increasing safety for maintenance operatives and equipment erectors. By removing the requirement for costly safety netting, roof staging, fall protection and external scaffolding, access equipment costs are minimised, on-site time is reduced and lives are not put at risk. The speed and ease with which roof repairs can be carried out using the Fixsafe system brings important advantages to building owners, with reduced disruption and safer working procedures. With netting and scaffold being unnecessary, there are further benefits for the building occupier as less trades people are on site. The Health & Safety Executive has responded positively to the introduction of the Fixsafe system as a means of allowing those involved in repairing fragile roofs to work fully in compliance with Regulation 9 of the Working at Height Regulations, 2005 and the risk of working on fragile roofs is completely eliminated. The Fixsafe system comprises specific GRP replacement sheets to match all popular asbestos and fibre cement profiles, together with patented Fixsafe fasteners, sealants and other accessories to allow the installation to be carried out from below. The system can be supplied to suit all common purlin types whether they are cold rolled Z or C sections, hot rolled angles, I beams, timber or concrete. No further materials are required to complete the installation, it's all in the kit. Although originally designed for use in single skin asbestos cement profiled sheet roofs, the system has developed and can be adapted for use with metal roof sheet systems and some twin skin assemblies. Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?

Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.

Do you deliver on Weekends?

Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?

Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013)

This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013

This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods

If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received

If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055, email or post Roof giant Ltd Holland House, Valley Way, Rockingham Road, Market Harborough, LE16 7PS advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract. If you wish for us to arrange collection of the goods when you are responsible for the cost of return we will charge to you the direct cost of the collection.

If you are returning goods using your right to change your mind we will refund to you the price you paid for the goods including delivery costs

We reserve the right to make deductions from the refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) if we believe the product has been handled excessively or in a way that would not be permitted by the manufacturers instruction

With regards to the refund of delivery cost we are only able to refund any delivery cost at a basic rate so if you opted for an enhanced service such as next day guaranteed we will only refund at the basic rate

As exercising your right to change your mind your refund will be made within 14 days of the goods being returned

If your refund request is not within the terms above : 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
